Don't put away the shovels yet.

Environment Canada has added more detail to its weather alerts for the province ahead of another possible Wednesday storm.

The weather agency says a very intense low pressure system is forecast to track over Nova Scotia March 26, bringing with it very strong winds and significant snowfall of 25 centimetres or more in parts of the province.

The snow is forecast to begin Wednesday morning and continue through the day, at times heavy, before changing to rain in the afternoon over eastern Nova Scotia and then back to snow overnight.

Environment Canada warns that strong winds are forecast to develop ahead of the system on Wednesday and persist as the system pulls away Thursday. The strong winds and snow will cause reduced visibility in blowing snow.
