July 3

Police responded to a traffic hazard from an oil spill on the road on Highway 358 in Port Williams at 7:49 a.m.

Identity theft/fraud was reported in Berwick.

Threats were made in Medford.

A two-vehicle crash occurred in Greenwood at 10:43 a.m., no injuries were sustained.

A bicycle was reported stolen in Auburn.

Police were called out for a driving complaint on Wolfville Ridge.

A hit and run crash between two vehicles occurred in Cambridge. The matter is under investigation.

A three-car crash occurred in Chipman Corner at 5 p.m., no injuries were reported.

Police were alerted to suspicious activity at Aldershot Elementary School at 5:20 p.m.

A car and motorcycle collided in New Minas at 5:25 p.m.

There was a hit and run in a New Minas parking lot.

Police responded to an animal complaint about two dogs left in a vehicle in Greenwood at 7:28 p.m. The animals were not in distress and no charges were laid.

A 33-year-old male was ticketed $291.45 for speeding on the 101 Highway at Aylesford.

There was a motor vehicle crash in Cambridge.

Insurance fraud was reported in Cambridge.

Police were alerted to a man taking pictures in Cambridge at 8:43 p.m. He was not photographing people as callers assumed, but rather the sunset. No charges were laid.

Threats were uttered in Waterville.

Police were called out to a traffic hazard on the 101 Highway near exit 15. A smoking vehicle was reported on the side of the road at 9:34 p.m.

July 4

Mischief was reported in North Kentville.

Reports of a prowler in Sheffield Mills were investigated at 5:36 a.m.

The Village of Kingston’s recreation hut was reported broken into at 8:25 a.m. Damage was sustained to the structure and audio equipment was stolen.

A ride-on mower was stolen from a home in Waterville.

Property damage from rocks thrown at windows was reported at a home in Mountain Front, off Brow Mountain Road, at 9:30 a.m.

Police were called about a harassment that occurred over the phone.

A screen door was damaged in New Minas.

A cell phone was stolen from a shopper in Greenwood at 12:59 p.m.

Police received a complaint about a speeding vehicle in Centreville.

A hit and run that occurred in a New Minas parking lot was reported at 1:49 p.m.

There was a public disturbance in North Kentville at 2:34 p.m.

Two cars were involved in motor vehicle collision in Kingston. One person was taken from the scene by ambulance for observation.

A two-vehicle crash was reported in Aylesford was reported. There were no injuries.

Police were called to Lumsden Dam, where a young person was reported missing and drowned. The investigation into the death continues.

There was a traffic complaint in Wolfville.

Police were called to the scene of flooding in North Kentville.

A speeding vehicle was observed in Halls Harbour at 8:22 p.m.

A sinkhole appeared in a New Minas parking lot.

Gunshots were reported in Brooklyn Corner at 9:08 p.m.

Taxi fraud was reported in Greenwood at 11:44 p.m.

July 5

A house party was reported disturbing the peace in Greenwood at 12:57 a.m.

A fight broke out in Greenwood at 1 a.m.

A new driver was given a warning for driving after midnight.
