The Kings Crime Prevention Association will be having a softball tournament with a dinner and dance July 25-27 to raise money for the families of the fallen members from Moncton, NB.

This is a co-ed tournament with a minimum of three females on the field at all time. The registration fee is $30 per person and includes a red t-shirts for every player to honour the fallen R.C.M.P. members. A group picture wearing the red t-shirts will be taken before the final game on Saturday night to show support.

All games will take place in either the fields in Aylesford or Berwick.  The round robin will begin July 25 and continue July 26, followed by a dinner and dance at the Aylesford Fire Hall. The dinner cost is still being finalized, but anyone wishing to attend just the dance can for $5.

Playoffs will be on July 27 and each team is guaranteed three games throughout the tournament.

Players can use either ASA- or USSSA-approved bats, but if there is a MPH stamp on the bat, it must be less than 100 mph.  Teams are asked to bring two grey dot softballs with them that will be used when they are the home team.  Home teams will be determined by a coin flip.

To register, please contact Nick MacLean by phone at 902-690-5861 or by email at The deadline to register is July 11.
