March 22

There was a noise complaint in Wolfville just after midnight.

At 10:40 a.m., there a two-vehicle crash In New Minas caused property damage but there were no injuries.

There was a driving complaint from the 101 near Berwick and a “leaky load” was reported from a vehicle on the 101 near Coldbrook.

Wolfville RCMP responded to a trespassing complaint at 11:41 a.m. about someone cutting across their backyard to a party on Prospect Street.

At 12:13 p.m., there was a loud music complaint from New Minas.

People were reported on the roof of a house on Prospect Street, Wolfville.

At 3:15 p.m., an intoxicated 22-year-old man was fined in Wolfville.

Reports about a bonfire on Prospect Street, Wolfville, were received around 5 and 7 p.m.

There was a gas and go on Aldershot Road, North Kentville.

Police stopped a suspected impaired driver at 7:24 p.m. However, the driver was sober. A passenger was intoxicated.

At 8:37 p.m., RCMP received a call about an ongoing traffic issue where drivers were not obeying signs at a work site.

At 9:45 p.m., a 22-year-old man on Linden Avenue, Wolfville, was fined for illegal possession of liquor.

In the same town, a driver was reported to the police for possible impairment when he left his vehicle on Main Street and peed on the side of the road.  Two women in their 20s were fined for illegal possession of alcohol on Acadia Street just before 10 p.m. Twenty minutes later, a 22-year-old man was arrested on Gaspereau Avenue for being drunk in public. Fireworks went off on Highland Avenue at 10:30 p.m.

 

 

 

March 23

At 12:32 a.m., Wolfville RCMP jailed a “highly intoxicated” 20-year-old man after a call on Gaspereau Avenue.

Just before 1 a.m., a Greenwood resident reported a prowler trying to enter a car. A bicycle left at scene had been stolen from somewhere else in the village. It was returned.

At 1:19 a.m., Wolfville RCMP received two 911 calls about an intoxicated 20-year-old woman who was injured. She was taken home. An hour later, a 21-year-old man was taken to jail to sober up.

At 11:15 a.m., there was another complaint about loud music in New Minas.

A 20-year-old man in South Alton was fined for  Illegal possession of liquor in South Alton.

Mischief was reported at 1:54 p.m. in Wolfville after a bottle was thrown through the window of a car on Basin Drive.

Damage to a rear tire was reported in Scotts Bay.

Theft of food by a roommate was reported in Wolfville.

There was a tenant dispute over noise just before 5 p.m.

Police stopped a driver who was on the 101 highway near Wolfville at 8:30 pm. with no headlights.

A 67-year-old man was injured after his car hit a pole on Canaan Mountain Road at 8:46 p.m. Police say slippery roads may have been a factor.

There was a lost and found wallet in Wolfville.

There was a report that someone put sticks and snow put in a gas tank on Gaspereau Ave.
