First senior safety breakfast serves up food and information
The kitchen was flat-out at the Middleton Baptist Church on Saturday, when members of the Annapolis RCMP and Seniors Safety Program held a pancake breakfast on Saturday morning.
The team served up about 100 breakfasts of sausages or bacon, eggs, tea , coffee, and juice. This is the first of a series of breakfasts that will be held over the next few weeks.
Corporal Scott MacMillan said his team has already flipping out with a few requests to visit other Annapolis County communities.These breakfasts also offer the opportunity for seniors and their families to check out the latest safety information.
Information is available on the latest frauds and scams, identity theft prevention, technological safety, the vial of life, and programs for seniors.
