Hunting season appears to have pushed a number of deer out onto county highways.
On Nov. 9, a car hit a deer on Highway 101, near Coldbrook.
The following day, a vehicle encountered a deer in Cambridge at 9:35 a.m.
On Nov. 13, two cars hit two deer at the same time on Highway 101 near Berwick. The incidents occurred at 5:28 p.m.
Later, a vehicle rammed a deer at Chipman Corner. Police had to put the animal down.
