Comedy about cancer to screen in Wolfville Tuesday night

A special screening of the film 50/50 is slated for Tuesday, April 22, at the Al Whittle Theatre in Wolfville.

The 7 p.m. event is being held as a fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society. The film was inspired by a true story and is largely a comedy about a 27-year-old man who learns he has cancer and struggles to beat the disease.

Tickets are $10 at the door.
