A final sale of Orchard Valley United Church surplus items will take place at the former St Paul and St Stephen United Church location in Kentville on Aug. 16.
It will run from 8 a.m. until noon.
Photos of yard sale items are posted on the church web site. Everything not sold will be going to liquidation or auction.
According to trustee Harvey Gilmour, both the Wolfville and Kentville United Churches have been sold. Viking Homes was the successful bidder for both the Wolfville Church and Manse.
He said tenders have been accepted by the congregation and approved by Valley Presbytery for all five properties, except the New Minas Church. Gilmour said, “we have taken off the market and will use as our home base for the next two years.”
