Bear River Winter Carnival kicks off Friday

From snow sculpture two skating and crazy carpets to poetry, the Bear River Winter Carnival is set to kick off Friday and promises to be a non-stop from weekend. Following is the schedule for the Bear River Winter Carnival that runs from February 14 to 16:

 

(Subhead)Friday, Feb. 14

-- Anytime till 3 pm. Saturday.  Build a snow sculpture and enter the big prize contest. Anyone can enter and build along the Bear River waterfront or at your home (to build at your home you must be in the Bear River area.) Free! -- 4:00 p.m. till end of winter Rink Opens.  Free skating behind Bear River Legion.

-- 5:00 to 5:30 p.m. Lighting of the Ice Candles and Ice Candle Contest.  Free.  Behind the Bear River Legion.
