Lego Thursdays

January 9 Lego Thursdays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Bridgetown and Area Library. Join us every Thursday for Lego at the Library.  (Ages 3+. Children 5  and under must be accompanied by a caregiver.)

 

Full Breakfast

January 11 All Saint’s Anglican Church Kingston will be serving a full breakfast on Saturday, Jan. 11 from 8 to 10 a.m. at the All Saints’ Anglican Church Hall, Pleasant Street, Kingston (turn west off Bridge Street). Cost: $ 7. Menu: pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans, hash browns, toast, juice, tea and coffee. All are welcome.

 

Hymn Sing

January 12 There will be a Hymn Sing on Sunday, Jan. 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Wilmot Baptist Christian Fellowship Center (CFC), corner of  Hwy #1 and Dodge Rd.  Special music guest this month is Bonnie Durling, a Contemporary Christian singer from the Valley.  All welcome...refreshments to follow after the service.

Lions Luncheon

January 14 Noon Luncheon at the Kingston Lions Hall. Tuesday, Jan. 14 from 12 to 1 p.m. (New Time). Come out and enjoy Roast Beef and mashed potatoes with all the fixings, coffee, tea, and dessert. Cost is $8 at the door or $8.50 delivered. Deliveries must be ordered by 10:30 a.m. on the 14th. Phone 765-2128.

 

Library Writing Group

January 14 Library Writing Group at 2 p.m. at the Bridgetown and Area Library. Share your work and ideas with others who enjoy writing.

 

Soup Kitchen

January 15 Join us for homemade soup at St. Monica’s Church Hall, 37 Connaught Ave., Middleton, on Wednesdays at noon beginning January15 until the Spring. All are welcome to come and socialize. There is no cost. Info: 825-6906.

 

Valleyview Moonlit Snowshoe

January 17 Hike Nova Scotia and County of Annapolis Recreation Services present a guided snowshoe hike in Valleyview Provincial Park in Bridgetown on January 17 at 6:30 p.m. Register at borde@annapoliscounty.ca, 532-3144 or 825-2005. Variety Music Night

January 18 The Kingston Lions Club presents a Variety Music Night at the Kingston Lions Hall on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. Cost is $5. Ticket sales at the door commencing at 6:00 pm.  Canteen and 50/50 ticket sales. Featuring performances by Just For Fun, Bernie & Jackie; and Lois Lutz & Country Kids.

 

Round Hill Snowshoe Trek
