A tourism industry cafe will be held in Yarmouth on Jan. 30 from 1-3 p.m. at the Rodd Grand Hotel.

The event was rescheduled from Jan. 22 because of the blizzard.

The industry cafe's were developed for the tourism industry, by the tourism industry, as a chance to discuss and learn about important tourism topics.

Nova Star Cruises Business Development Manager Danny Morton will be a guest speaker.

As well, TIANS will be discussing their Change the Conversation Narrative toolkit – which involves using a narrative as a way to tell the story of tourism and invite a deeper conversation from government and community leaders surrounding the importance of the industry to the economy.

Organizations: Rodd Grand Hotel, Nova Star Cruises

Geographic location: Yarmouth

Hopefully someone will ask Mr. Morton WHY there is no published ferry travel pricing, and no reservation system in place yet. If not now,.... WHEN? A May 1st ferry start date? REALLY? The Nova Star Cruises website has not even been updated with ANY new information since December! Is Mr. Morton/Nova Star still clinging to the previously announced dream, that the ferry will carry 100,000 passengers in 2014? I hope it does, but that story no longer seems credible.
