Yarmouth Consolidated Memorial High School’s Grade 9 boys basketball team were winners of this past weekend’s Drumlin Heights junior boys basketball tournament.
The YCMHS Vikings defeated Barrington 68-55 in the tournament’s championship game on Saturday.
Owen Hemeon was Yarmouth’s player of the game in the title contest.
Michael Christenson was named the tournament’s most valuable player.
In earlier action Saturday, the Vikings were 55-28 winners over St. Mary’s Bay Academy, with Ethan Grant being named Yarmouth’s player of the game.
On Friday, in its first game of the tournament, the Yarmouth team defeated Lockeport 65-22. David Ihidero was the Vikings’ player of the game in this one.
