YARMOUTH, N.S. – The Sou’West Bulldogs, comprised of high school students from Drumlin and Yarmouth high schools, competed in the Under 17 Bantam Basketball provincials held in Dartmouth.

The Bulldogs team came home with the silver medal, losing to the Amherst Lightning in the finals 102-78.

Tournament results were as follows:

Friday, April 13:

Sou’West Bulldogs 73, Yarmouth Huskies 62. Player of the game was Dylan Smith

Saturday April 16:

Sou’West Bulldogs 96, Memorial (Cape Breton) 55. Player of the game was Dylan Landry

Sou’West Bulldogs 50, Amherst Sonics 79. Player of the game was Bashtain Hallet.

Sunday, April 17:

Championship game:

Sou’West Bulldogs 78, Amherst Sonics 102. Player of the game was Connor Trask.

Dylan Smith was selected as a tournament All-Star.
