WOLFVILLE, N.S. – Acadia University will be buzzing with activity as varsity rugby teams compete for a national title at Raymond Field from Nov. 1-4.
The Wolfville-based Axewomen are hosting the 2018 U Sports National Women’s Rugby Championships.
Acadia’s squad includes a number of athletes hailing from the Annapolis Valley: Amanda Jardine (Greenwood), Keisha Kane (Kings County), Kia Sawler (Windsor) and Sydney Smith (Middleton).
The Axewomen are set to play the Ottawa Gee Gees in quarter-final action Nov. 1 at 7 p.m.
