The Spitfire Arms Cashpiel is set for Nov. 27-29. A total of 24 rinks will be competing from across Nova Scotia.
The Richard Barker rink is one of 12 male teams while Jocelyn Nix’s rink will be one of the 12 female teams competing.
The Nix and Barker rinks will be on the ice for the first time Nov. 29 at 8 p.m. and then again on Nov. 29 at 1 p.m.
If you want to witness some outstanding curling, the Windsor Curling Club should be the venue to do so this weekend. There is no admission charged. Draws will be held at 3 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Nov. 27; at 8 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Nov. 28.
The playoffs will be held Sunday, with the men and women's quarter-finals scheduled for 8:30 a.m.
The semi-finals for both sexes are slated for 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 29, with the tournament championship games at 2:30 p.m.
