The 2015 13U National Atlantic Championships will feature eight teams. In addition to the host Yarmouth team there is another team from Nova Scotia. New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador will each be sending two teams.
The volunteers needed during the championship weekend include:
• Score Keepers (4)
• Field Coordinators (4)
• Pitch Counters (undetermined number)
• Meet & Greet (6)
• Banquet (12)
The Meet & Greet is a barbecue event, in which three barbecues will be running.
As for the banquet, the tables and stage will be set up by the Mariners Centre staff. The tables will need to be decorated on Friday, Sept. 11. On the day of the banquet on Saturday, Sept. 12, volunteers are needed to help in the kitchen and with the serving of the food.
