LIVERPOOL - The Liverpool Privateers hosted the 11U Mosquito B Regionals baseball tournament from July 28 to 30.
Hantsport and Windsor teams also took part in the tournament.
“Hantsport won by going 4-0,” said John Long, president of the Liverpool Baseball Club.
Liverpool won a game and lost three games, and Windsor also won a game and lost three.

Long says Liverpool had a really good game against Windsor July 29. The team also had an extremely close game against Hantsport.
“Liverpool played some really good baseball,” he said.
Hantsport will move on to provincials.
More baseball is coming to Queens County later this month. Liverpool is set to host the 13U Peewee Provincials from Aug. 25 to 27.  Then, the weekend after Labour Day, Liverpool is scheduled to host the league year-end tournament for the 11U Mosquito group. Nine teams are expected to attend that tournament.
