William H. MacDonald

Graveside service for the late William ‘Billy’ Hugh MacDonald, 70, Crandall Road, Port Hawkesbury, was held June 15 in St. David’s United Church Cemetery, Port Hastings. Mr. MacDonald died March 9, 2018, in Portage District General Hospital. Born October 1, 1947, in Port Hawkesbury, he was a son of the late John and Charlotte MacDonald. He moved out west in 1970, retiring as a building manager in Vancouver in 2007. He and his wife moved and settled in Portage LaPrairie, Manitoba. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Cobby); three sisters, Loretta Anderton, Nanaimo, British Columbia; Claudette Fox, Jacqueline Fox, both of Port Hastings; three brothers, Donnie, Troy; Ralph (Jennie), Sussex, New Brunswick; Sandy, Crandall Road; brother-in-law, Collie MacEachern, Craigmore; numerous nieces and nephews.
