Wanda Elizabeth Burke

Funeral service for the late Wanda Elizabeth Burke, 66, was held February 15 in Sacred Heart Church, Johnstown. Mrs. Burke died February 7, 2019, in Strait Richmond Hospital. Born July 20, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Tom and Josie MacNeil. In her younger years, she enjoyed swimming and skating. She also enjoyed cooking, playing cards, reading and watching the Bold and the Beautiful. She is survived by her husband, Conrad Burke; two daughters, Leanne Burke, Karen (Nick) MacDonald; granddaughter, Ari MacDonald; two sisters, Anne McNamara, Alva MacNeil; three brothers, Kevin MacNeil, Gerry MacNeil, Gerard (Wanda) MacNeil; two sisters-in-law, Donna MacNeil, Donna Johnson; in-laws, Bernard Burke, Clem Burke, Fraser Burke, Richard (Madonna) Burke, Carmelita (Blair) Landry, Lola (Harold) Stevens, Rosemary (Rhodes) Kellegrew, Warren (Debbie) Burke, John (Wanda) Burke; many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was predeceased by her parents-in-law, Xavier and Edith May Burke; sister, Jean Barasso; three brothers, John, Donnie and Jimmy MacNeil; three brothers-in-law, Valentine McNamara, Pat Barasso, Ralph Murray; four sisters-in-law, Shirley MacNeil, Patsy MacNeil, Mary Burke, Linda Burke; many aunts and uncles.
