Thomas Eldred 'Batman Evely

EVELY, Thomas Eldred 'Batman' Glace Bay It is with great sadness the family wishes to announce the passing of their husband, father and grandfather, Thomas “Batman” Evely, on July 2, 2019 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Born May 9, 1948 he was the son of the late George and Mary (Morgan) Evely. Batman was an avid CB Radio operator as well as ham radios. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, his family and grandchildren meant everything to him. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary (MacLean); son, Tommy (Shirley Ann); daughters, Patricia (Robbie) Steele, Joyce (Scott) Price; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sisters, Brenda(Benny)MacKenzie, Joyce; brothers, Brian (Glenda) and Blaise. Besides his parents he was also predeceased by his son, John Joseph, in infancy; grandson, Jamie; grandmother, Margaret Morgan; sister, Cordella and brother, Kenny. Cremation has taken place and a chapel service will be held Tuesday, July 9th at 11 a.m. with Rev.
