CHOPECK, Shirley Jean Scotchtown It is with great sadness the family of Shirley Chopeck announce her passing on October 16, 2019 at the New Waterford Consolidated Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born March 25, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Myrtle (Richardson) Price. Shirley was a homemaker and her four sons were her life, she acquired the name manager of Scotchtown Small Garage as she would always be out there with her boys when they were working on cars, at one time she was an avid C.B. Radio operator and loved to play bingo. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren meant the world to her. She is survived by sons, Allan (Tracy), David (Sheila), George (Dolena) and Alex “Spuddy” (Charlene); grandchildren, Raymond, Amy, Kyla, Larissa, Matthew; great-grandchildren, Elliot, Amelia, Mason, Landon and Emily. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Alex; brother, William and sisters, Dorothy, Ella and Eva. As per Shirley’s wishes, there will be no service or visitation. Cremation has taken place and Internment will be in Union Grove Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford, 902-862-7500.
