MacLEOD, Sarah Alene “Moralene” Sydney/Loch Lomond Sarah Alene “Moralene” MacLeod, 87, of Sydney, formerly, Loch Lomond, passed away Friday, September 6, 2019, in Harbourstone Enhanced Care, Sydney. Born in Loch Lomond, she was the daughter of the late Angus and Catherine (Munroe) MacDonald. Moralene is survived by her son, Sanders (Cara), Northside East Bay and grandchildren, Caitlyn, Emma, Makayla and George. She was predeceased by her husband, Dan Alex; sisters, Mary Beth and Helen; brothers, Hughie K., George and John I. Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Thursday, September 12 from 4-7 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, September 13 at 10 a.m., with Rev. Gordon Granchelli officiating. Interment in Pioneer Cemetery, Loch Lomond. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Harbourstone Enhanced Care, as well as Jenny MacNamara and longtime friend, Margaret Campbell for the love and care shown to Moralene.
