Ross Leonard

Funeral service for the late Ross Leonard, 86, St. Peter’s, formerly of West Bay, was held November 19 in West Bay United Church with Reverend Donna Lovelace officiating. Burial was in West Bay Cemetery. Mr. Leonard died November 15, 2018, in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born in West Bay, he was a son of the late Creighton Robert and Annie May (MacMillan) Leonard. He was a member of West Bay United Church where he was an elder and choir member. He was also a member of Head of Bay Seniors Club and the CN Pensioners Association. He is survived by his wife, Tena (Haley) Leonard; stepson, Flint Green, Hamilton, Ontario; sister, Minnie Alice, Antigonish; three brothers, Mitchell (Marguerite), C.R., Donald, all of West Bay; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Jean Cresine, Frances Ferguson; six brothers, Herbert, Alexander, Walter, Lloyd, Lawrence, Ewen.
