Ronald R. Moore

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ronald Moore, age 94, on December 8, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was a long-time resident of Glace Bay, and most recently Halifax. He was born in Edmonton, Alberta and served with the Canadian Armed Forces, 13th Battalion. He and his wife operated Moore Jewellers on Commercial St. in Glace Bay for many years. He is survived by his devoted wife, Jeanette; sons, Paul (Barbara), Robert (Donna); daughter, Linda; grandchildren, Marisa, Alicia, Jill, Michael, Ricky and Madison. There will be a celebration of his life held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Chant’s Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra Street, Sydney, Cape Breton.
