Randall Albert Parsons

Funeral service for the late Randall Albert Parsons, 63, Port Bickerton, was held February 4 in St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Port Bickerton, with Reverend Kristin MacKenzie officiating. Mr. Parsons died January 30, 2019, at home. Born in Sherbrooke, he was a son of the late Banfield and Orpha (Kaiser) Parsons. He worked with the Department of Transportation for many years, served as a Justice of the Peace, was former councillor in District 8, for the District of St. Mary’s and was an avid Montreal Canadiens fan. He is survived by his wife, Gwyneth (Rowe); son, Randall (Lori-Ann); daughter, Sarah (Jamie Smith); two grandchildren, RJ, Elaina, both of Antigonish; two sisters, Evelyn (Blaine) Williamson, Dartmouth; Dot (Gary) Mahar, Sonora; brother, William, Port Bickerton; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and their families.
