PHYLLIS TREMBLAY

Phyllis Tremblay

A graveside service for the late Phyllis Marie Tremblay, 89, Kempt Road, Richmond County,  was held in St. Francis de Sales Parish Cemetery, Lower River Inhabitants, with Father Duncan Mac Isaac officiating.

Mrs. Tremblay died July 3, 2019.

Born in North Sydney, she was a daughter of the late Philip and Susan (Warren) Francis. She was a member of the former Lions Club in Port Hawkesbury. She was an avid crafter, bingo player and cake decorator. She dedicated many years to the blood donor clinic.

She is survived by six children, Anne Marie (GJ) LeBlanc, Phyllis Lorraine (Dave) Ryan, Roger (Donna) Tremblay, Robert (Valerie) Tremblay, Sandra (Leo) Roberts, David (Marilyn)Tremblay; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four siblings, Clar May, Norma Burmingham, Eileen Billard, Queenie Perry; son-in-law, Malcolm MacEachern; stepsister, Ethel Poulsen.

She was predeceased by her husband, Roger Tremblay; two daughters, Susan MacEachern, Norma Tremblay; sister, Dot Hartlen; stepbrother, Phil May; stepfather, Isaac May.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
