Patricia Joan Cotie

Funeral service for the late Patricia Joan Cotie, 67, Monastery, Antigonish County, was held August 6 in St. Peter’s Church, Tracadie, with Father John Barry officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Mrs. Cotie died August 1, 2018, in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Readers at the funeral Mass were Catherine Cameron and Beverly Crispo. Pam Cameron, Alicia Landry and Keri Williams presented the offertory gifts. Music was provided by Tyrus Wallace. Urn bearer was Barb Mason. Honorary pallbearers were Nikita Bowie, Anita Crispo, Joan Furlong and Isabel Morris. Born December 4, 1950, in Antigonish, she was a daughter of the late James B. and Marie (MacGillivray) Crispo. She enjoyed playing bingo, crib and spending time with friends and family. She is survived by daughter, Tanya Piercey (Mark Price); four grandchildren, Joey, Alanna, James, and Jayden, all of Ontario; companion, Aloysius Fitzpatrick; two sisters, Catherine Cameron, Bernadette (George) Feltmate, both of Antigonish; two brothers, John (Karen), Monastery; Robert (Melinda), Antigonish. She was predeceased by her husband, Hughie Cotie; four sisters, Beverly, Viola, Theresa, Marilyn; three brothers, Gregory, Mickey, Jimmy; mother and father-in-law, Ernest and Grace Cotie.
