Mildred Delores ‘Dolly' Walsh
Mildred Delores ‘Dolly’ Walsh, 77, Isaac’s Harbour, died August 25, 2018, at home. Born in Isaac’s Harbour, she was a daughter of the late George ‘Sherman’ and Emma (Langille) Hallett. She had a strong work ethic and enjoyed her job as a park attendant at Salsman Park, Country Harbour. She met many people over the years and became friends with many of the campers. In her spare time, she enjoyed her gardens and taking her dog, Tucker, for drives on back roads looking for deer, rabbits and other wildlife. She is survived by six daughters, Shirley (Audie) Gerrior, Lundy; Lana (Karl) Smith, Goldboro; Elizabeth (Carl) Guptill, New Brunswick; Angela (Craig) Sangster, Seal Harbour; Cara Walsh, Amanda Walsh, both of Halifax; six grandchildren, April, Robert, Tracey, Daniel, Summer, Tegan; six great-grandchildren, Hunter, Shaun, Malcolm, Payton, Sierra, Chase; sister, Florence (Harley) Jack; sister-in-law, Kathy Hallett; many nieces, nephews and their families; best friend, buddy and cousin, Joyce Avery; and her Park family. She was predeceased by her husband, Ellsworth; son, Robert ‘Bo’; granddaughter, Janna Leigh Hayne; two sisters, Violet, Laura; two brothers, John, Floyd.
