Michael Milbery — Yarmouth

MILBERY, Michael Gregory, 67, Quinan, passed away May 2, 2018 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Yarmouth, he was the son to the late Kenneth and Audrey (Morton) Milbery. Michael lived in Western Canada most of his life, working as an Locamotive Engineer for CN Railway returning to Nova Scotia following his retirement in 2001. He bought a home on Gilligan Lake in Quinan where he enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. Motorcycles were his passion and he enjoyed spending time with family and friends near and far. He is survived by special friend, Wendy Edwards, Saskatoon; daughter, Kathryn “Kate” Robinson, Manitoba; son, Kevin (Shanessa), Alberta; brother, Brian (Patricia), British Columbia; grandchildren, Eric, Luke, Cole, Lyla Milbery and Elliot, Andrew Robinson; nephew, Jared Pero. Besides his parents, Michael was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Anne Marie and Adolphous Morton; paternal grandparents, Alena and Harry Milbery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium. Cremation has taken place, there will be a graveside service at a later date.
