Mary Parks — North Sydney

It is with deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Bertha Parks, age 72, on Monday August 6, 2019. Born in North Sydney, on August 13, 1946, she was the loving daughter of the late John Thomas Parks and Bertha Rose (Deveaux) Parks. Mary was predeceased by Edward Moore, her common-law husband of 34 years and her bother Danny (Doreen) Parks. Mary is survived by her daughter Karen (Glenn) Santacona, grandchildren Brett and Brianna Santacona, sisters Rita (Sam, deceased) Graham, twin sister Betty Ann (Larry, deceased) Middleton, Rachael (Bill) Keigan, Rose Marie (Less) Theriault, brothers John (Cathy) Parks and Larry (Eleanor) Parks and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation by request. Private memorial to be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the IWK Health Centre or to a charity of choice.
