Mary Louise (MacKenzie) Fraser, age 92, of Gairloch, passed away on December 9, 2018 at Glen Haven Manor. Born, January 31, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Angus and Jean MacKenzie. She was a life long resident of Gairloch and a devoted member and elder of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Gairloch, she was also a member of the Gairloch Church Aid. Mary enjoyed knitting, gardening, and dancing at the old time dances in Lorne and time spent with her family. She is survived by son Allan (Kim), Cole Harbour; daughters, Jean Rupp, Redwater, Alberta; Linda Cameron, Middle River; and Ruth Fraser (Bruce), Little Harbour; grandchildren, Danny (Gina), Marc (Kyla), Dwayne (Vannessa), Marianne (Alec), Jamie (Meggan), Michael (Amy), Courtney, Greg (Louise); and 15 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Everett; infant son Oran; sister Isabel Murray; brother Allister MacKenzie; and son-in-law Wayne Cameron. Mrs. Fraser is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visitations from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. Her funeral service will be held 1 o’clock Thursday at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Gairloch with Bonnie Langille officiating. Family flowers only.
