Mary Annettta Holmes

Mary Annettta Holmes, 78, of Amherst, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow. Born in Minto, NB, she was a daughter of the late Amedie and Alice (Carr) Arsenault. Mary was a cashier at K-Mart and Zeller’s in Amherst, and former member of the Stellarton Legion where she enjoyed playing darts. Her greatest enjoyment was watching her grandsons playing hockey, being their number one fan. She will be dearly missed by her son David (Ann), McLellan’s Brook; daughter Pattie Paige (Darren), Ontario; grandchildren, Garret, Colin, and Krystal Holmes, Bryce and Donovan Paige; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers Pat Arsenault (Janie) and Frank Arsenault (Arlene); and sisters Jeannette Laurette, Marjorie Clarke (Delbert Dunham); and many nieces and nephews. Her family will receive visitors on Saturday from 3-5 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. There will be no funeral service by request. www.eaglesfuneralhome.ca
