Margaret "Peggy" Diane Jardine

Trenton - Margaret “Peggy” Diane Jardine, 72, of Trenton, passed away December 23, 2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital. Born in New Glasgow on January 21, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Catherine (MacLean) Chislett. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, John F. Jardine; son, Daniel (Gail), Trenton; daughters, Jackie MacKean (Mike), Stellarton, and Lisa Adshade (Kevin), New Glasgow; step-grandsons: Jeff Bowser (Donna) and their children Georgia and Ali; and Corey Bowser (Taylor) and Corey’s children Jared, Eva and Lori-Lynn; sisters: Bernadette (Joe) Hughes, Trenton and Marie (Chris) Lamey, also of Trenton; many nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by daughter, Cathy; sisters: Millie, Catherine “Toots”, Elizabeth “Betty”, Shirley, and Anderine; brothers: James “Jimmy” and Fred “Bud”. Funeral was held Thursday, Dec. 27 at R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow, with Fr. Tom MacNeil officiating. In honour of Mom’s favourite cause, donations may be made to the Pictou County SPCA.
