Lloyd Baltzer — Kentville

Lloyd Laverne Baltzer - 71, of Meadowvale, Annapolis County, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Berwick, he was a son of the late Truman and Beatrice (Legere) Baltzer. He was employed with ACA Poultry for 21 years until retirement. Lloyd loved horses, camping and was a huge John Wayne fan. He was always trying to make people laugh. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Gloria (Pelton); four children, Tammie (Roland) Lloyd, Cambridge; Tim Baltzer (Cassandra Taylor), Greenwood; Anthony Baltzer (Wanda Gillis), Greenwood; and Jillian Baltzer (Terry Foster), Aylesford; three sisters, Betty, Shirley and Terri; two brothers, Mac and Davey; nine grandchildren; one great granddaughter. He was predeceased by a sister, Pauline; two brothers, Gerald "Buck" and George. Cremation has taken place. There was no visitation, by request. The funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2017 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Donald Rafuse officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in the Berwick Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to Prostate Cancer Canada Atlantic.
