Lawrence Samuel Boyd

Lawrence Samuel Boyd, age 79, of Lower Sackville passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 14, 2018. He was a son of the late Lawrence “Mutt” and Mary Boyd. He loved to play guitar and listen to his Irish and old country music. He will be remembered for getting into trouble with his brothers in Cape Breton. He will be deeply missed by his very handsome sons, Derrick (Tamara), Brendon (Ann), Mark “the favourite”, and “the baby” Ryan (Leigh-Ann); granddaughters, Gillian, Katie, Josie and Kaylee; siblings, Bill, Patsy (Frank), Kenny (Doris), Doreen (Eric) and Theresa (Dave); many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 50 years, Thecla. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 16 from 4 to 6 p.m. in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 17 at 11 a.m. in St. John Vianney Church, Lower Sackville with reception to follow in the Church hall.
