Lawrence Krafve

KRAFVE, Lawrence Henry – 83, Barrington Passage, passed away on February 15, 2018 at home. Born November 29, 1934, in North East Point, he was a son of the late Sidney and Olive (Atkinson) Krafve. Lawrence had many interests that included working on trucks and heavy equipment. He enjoyed watching golf and curling on the television. He was an avid racing fan, Dale Earnhardt being his favourite driver. Lawrence was also an avid baseball fan and was such a huge fan of the Boston Red Sox that his retirement gift from Wilson’s Shopping Centre was a trip to Boston to watch the playoff games. His family was very important to him and he loved visits from them, especially from his grandchildren. He is survived by, son, David (Maxine); daughters, Darlene Krafve, Sheryl Newell; daughter-in-law, Karen Krafve; siblings, Florence Acker, Genasta Smith, Paul (Phyllis); Bruce; grandchildren, Kirby, Anthony, Katie, Walt, Frank, Felicia, Jade; great grandchildren, Connor, Arrianna, Kale; step grandson, Paul. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by wife, Doreen; and son, Lawrence Jr. “Buddy”. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Barrington. There was a memorial service held on Tuesday, February 20, at 2 p.m. at the H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington.
