Kevin Verge — Liverpool

VERGE - Kevin John, 53, of Liverpool, Queens County, passed away suddenly at home on Monday, October 31, 2016. Born in Liverpool, he was a son of the late Vernon Eldon Verge and Vivian (Greek) (Verge) Jollimore. Kevin graduated from Saint Mary’s University with a BA in History. He worked for Queens County Museum as an historian and groundskeeper for over 25 years. He loved sports, especially the Blue Jays, the Montreal Canadians and NASCAR; Jeff Gordon being his favorite driver. He is survived by his sisters Deborah Godfrey of Liverpool; Susan Verge (Doug Stevens) of Milton, brothers Daniel (Selena) of Mersey Point and Matthew of Port Mouton; 4 nieces, 4 nephews and 1 great nephew and stepfather Jordan Jollimore, of Liverpool. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral home, Liverpool, where visitation will be held Friday, November 4, 2016 from 7 until 9 p.m. A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Zion United Cemetery, College Street, Liverpool.
