Kenneth David Ehler

Funeral service for the late Kenneth David Ehler, 73, Peas Brook, Guysborough County, was held November 23 in St. James the Martyr Anglican Church, Halfway Cove, with Reverend Susan Slater officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Ehler died November 19, 2018, at home. Born and raised in Peas Brook, he was a son of the late Fred and Marion (Ehler) Ehler. He began his career in the fisheries as shore skipper at Canso Seafreeze, continuing on with 25 years of service with Fisheries & Oceans. He was dedicated to the church, spending many years offering his services as warden and treasurer to St. James the Martyr Anglican Church. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Eileen (Hendsbee); step-daughter, Maxine (Mike) Feltmate; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald (Sandra) Ehler; many nieces and nephews.
