Kathleen "Kay" Creemer — Lakeville

Kathleen Bertha “Kay” Creemer – 81, of Lakeville, Kings County, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 at home with her family by her side. Born in Centreville, Kings County, she was a daughter of the late Calvin and Estella (Johnstone) Bond. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with her family. She is survived by four sons, Bob (Dorothy), Harry, Percy (Kathy) and Stewart, all of Lakeville; two daughters, Cindy (Cecil) Dominey, Lakeville; Kathleen (Warren) Hyde, Cambridge; four sisters, Lena Harper and Muriel Butler, both of Kentville; Marjorie (Bill) Gondar, Stoney Creek, Ontario; Minnie (Stan) Kott, Hamilton, Ontario; a brother, Cecil (Margaret) Bond, Kentville; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her common-law spouse, Walter Baltzer; her three-year old daughter, Jacqueline; a sister, Margaret Johnston; two brothers, Benjamin Bond and John “Budd” Bond. Cremation has taken place. There was no visitation, by her request. A graveside service was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2017 in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville, Pastor Christina Bigelow officiating. Donations in memory may be made to the Valley Regional Hospital Foundation - Carey Me Fund (in support of palliative care in the home). Special thanks go out to Gordon LeBlanc, who drove her back and forth to Halifax for treatments, no matter what the weather.
