Joseph Edward Ardelli

Joseph Edward Ardelli, 89, of Whitney Pier, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018 in Maple Hill Manor, New Waterford, with family by his side. Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Joseph and Catherine (Wynot) Ardelli. Joseph was a member of Holy Redeemer Church. He was retired from working in construction and was involved in the Musician’s Union. Joseph’s love for music led him to play in various bands in the area, eventually appearing on local T.V. and Radio. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Boone); sister, Theresa Dalesandro, Whitney Pier, and his brother, Frank, ON. Joseph was predeceased by sisters, Stella Hamilton, Julia, Mary Kokoska, and brothers, Walter, John, Ed, Tony and Mike. Visitation will take place Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. in Sydney Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, November 7, at 10 a.m. in Holy Redeemer Church with Rev. Paul Murphy officiating. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
