Joan Louise Taylor — North Sydney

Joan, born 1942, passed away peacefully on Nov 29, 2018 in North Sydney. Survived by her devoted daddy, & dance partner, Tom Rice; loving sister, Donna Michel (Rice) and her brother-in-law, Fernand Michel. Predeceased by her mother, Louise Ann Rice (Brown); her sister, Dorothy and brother, Arthur. Special thanks to all the staff at Miners Memorial Manor, Dr. Kohlsmith and his team, and all the staff at the Northside General Hospital for their dedicated care to our loved one. You gave us the last extra years and memories we had to spend with Joan. We will be forever grateful to Melvin and Agnes Pearo and their daughters Joy and Jenny for their love and commitment to our family over the years. Joan loved Cape Breton, music and dancing. There will be no visitation; gravesite committal will take place at a later date.
