ROSS, John James ‘Jim’ The family announces, with sorrow, the passing of John James ‘Jim’ Ross on Friday, May 24, 2019, at the age of 99 years. Dear son of the late Harry and Annie May (nee McNeil) Ross. Beloved husband of the late Matilda ‘Tillie’ Ross (nee McIntyre); beloved father of David, Sudbury; beloved grandfather of Fay (Steve); beloved great-grandfather of Julian and Aiden. He was born in a farm house on the Banks Road in Inverness, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, the second youngest in a family of six. A Celebration of Life will be held at a Memorial Mass in St. Andrew`s Church, Boisdale on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 12 p.m., with Rev. Varghese Purhuparampil officiating.
