(Ida) Pearl Martin

MARTIN, (Ida) Pearl Sydney Ida Pearl Martin, (102) of Sydney, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Born in Port-Aux-Basque NFLD, she was the daughter of the late John R. Scott and Dinah(Bennett) Scott. Pearl was a member of Church of Christ the King, Sydney. Pearl was survived by daughters, Ruby (Marcel) Poirier, Alliston, ON and Judy Lawrence Sydney; sons, Gordie (Milley), Halifax and Elton (Rose), New Waterford & special daughter, June Marra, Orillia, ON; 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Baxter (2008); sisters, Evelyn, Marjorie, Ethel, Rita, Dorothy; brothers, Fred and Gord & son-in-law, Philip Lawrence.
