DEVOE, Gunnar Wayne Waylon Florence It is with great sadness that we, the family of Gunnar Devoe, announce his passing on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at the IWK in Halifax. Born September 27, 2019, he was a fighter from the start. In his short life of twelve days, Gunnar touched the lives of many people, including his aunts, uncles and cousins from both Mom and Dad’s side, his nurses at the IWK, and both his nannies and papa Sam. Gunnar is survived by his mother, Brandelee Yorke; father, Chad Devoe; and big brother, Cash. Gunnar was predeceased by his sibling; his great-grandfather, Elmer Lovell; and great uncle, Percy Devoe.
