SYLLIBOY, Frank Noel With his family at his side our brother Frank ended his journey here on earth on Tuesday, September 3, 2019. Following a courageous 9 month struggle with several hurdles that he overcame, and he finally succumbed to. Frank is the son of the late John Noel and Mary Ellen (Paul) Sylliboy. He was a quiet humble man who liked to help out when the need arose. He loved listening to old tunes and his favorite was Elvis. He was also a Chicago Black Hawks fan. Frank ran a canteen for decades and enjoyed making baskets and wreaths with family. He loved our family gatherings. Family was important to Frank. He enjoyed going to pow-wows, fishing and driving around in his pick up, just cruising. Frank was a member of Holy Family Parish and more recently Eagle Landing Ministries. He is survived by his family four stepchildren including step son, Lloyd and step daughter, Janet; brothers, Robert (Mary) Sylliboy, Eskasoni, Martin (Mary Theresa) Cremo, Eskasoni; sisters, Jeannie (David) Rose, Ontario, Martha (David) Whitall, Westmont, Catherine Dennis, Eskasoni, Bridget Ann (Robert) Herney, Eskasoni; aunt, Catherine Bernard and uncle, Ben I Sylliboy both of Eskasoni; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, four godchildren, and numerous other friends and family. Besides his parents, Frank was also predeceased by his loving wife, Barbara Ann (Gould) Sylliboy; two brothers in infancy; two nephews, Melvin Dennis and Baby Cremo, as well as brother-in-law, Clayton Dennis. Visitation will begin on Sunday, September 8 at 5186 Mountain Rd., Eskasoni with a Funeral Mass at Holy Family Church on Tuesday, September 10 at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Angus MacDougall officiating. Interment to follow in Holy Family Parish Cemetery.
