Ferdinand ‘Fern’ Foch MacNeil

Funeral service for the late Ferdinand ‘Fern’ Foch MacNeil, 75, was held September 1 in Stella Maris Church, Inverness, with Father Dan MacDonald officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Mr. MacNeil died August 29, 2018, in Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital. Born June 11, 1943, he was the youngest son of the late John Colin and Janet MacDonald-MacNeil, Inverness. He was employed by Stora Forest Industries for many years. He is survived by his wife, Emeryne; brother, Ainslie; sister-in-law, Charlene (Tim Foley); two brothers-in-law, Darryl (Ferne Hart), Derwyn Hart; first cousin, May MacNeil; numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by four sisters, Bridget and Mary Catherine, in infancy; Lorraine (Stan), Rita (Jackie); four brothers, Donald, Francis, Gerald, Douglas.
