Earl W.A. Johnstone

A private ceremony for the late Earl Wilfred Alexander Johnstone, 68, Blues Mills, Inverness County, will be held at a later date. Mr. Johnstone died July 18, 2018, in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Orangedale, Inverness County, he was a son of the late Chester and Lucy Catherine (Bulger) Johnstone. He was a member of the Whycocomagh Lions Club, Sircom Lodge 66, Whycocomagh; Cape Clear Snowmobile Club, Carpenters Union Local 1588 and Antique Car Association. He was past president of the board of directors for the local co-op. He also coached girls’ hockey teams. He is survived by his wife, Connie (MacKay), Blues Mills; daughter, Katherine; two sons, Jamie, Callum; sister, Sylvia (Camie) MacLean; two brothers, Raymond (Cindy), Jim (Heather).
