Donald Harvie — Windsor

Harvie, Donald Wilbert, 87, of Windsor, Hants County. It is with great sadness that Donald’s family announce his passing on Friday, November 23, 2018 in Haliburton Place, Windsor. Born on September 6, 1931 in Windsor, Hants County. He was the son of the late Harry and Lavinia (Benedict) Harvie. Donald worked very hard all his life. When he started a job there was no stopping him. He worked for Mckay’s Transport for many years and then he went on to Day N Ross Ltd in Dartmouth before he decided to retire. Surviving are his wife, the former Phyllis “Anne” LeBlanc; sons, Donald (Nancy); Phylip (Annette); Christopher; Blair Harvie; grandchildren; great grandchildren; brother, Dale(Carol), Scotch Village; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sons, one brother and two sisters. Visitation was held from 1 – 2 p.m. and a memorial service followed at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 29, 2018 both in the Lindsay Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Box 2218, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0. Celebrant Helen Lindsay officiated. Burial will be at a later date. Donations in his memory were requested to be made to any charity.
