Doctor Murdock Arthur Smith
Doctor Murdock Arthur Smith, Dalhousie Medical School Class of 1969, died after a brief illness at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. He went the way he wanted, with his family nearby and working right up to the end. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Frances Smith and four children, Helen (Colin), Kathleen (Mike), Murdock (Colleen) and Rob (Lindsay), as well as his 11 grandchildren. He was also survived by sisters, Mora and Louise, and nieces, Elizabeth and Alison. He was predeceased by his parents, Murdock and Helen (Holloway) Smith. Further arrangements will be published in the coming days.
