MOULES, Daniel “Danny” Whitney Pier It is with broken hearts that we, the family of Daniel “Danny” Moules, regret to announce his peaceful passing on Monday, August 12, 2019, at home with family by his side. Born February 4, 1944, in Sydney, he was the son of the late Albert and Rachel (McGrady) Moules. In his early years, Danny was employed as a truck driver with LeBlanc’s Transfer, as well as a gravedigger for many of the local cemeteries. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Rose (Giorno); daughters, Sherri (Jason) Campbell and Linda Morley (Bobby), both of Sydney; son, Jim Morley (Tina), Sydney; grandchildren, David, Alicia (Paul), James (Amy), Madison, Mya, Aurora and Dustin; great-grandchildren, Jessa-Lynne, Brooke-lynne, Paul-James and Addison; sisters, Mary (Fred) Broussard, Rachel (Stewart) Nickless and Annie (Gerard) MacKinnon, all of Sydney. Besides his parents, Danny was predeceased by his sisters, Helen Conohan and Shirley Short and brothers, Jim, Albert and Val. There will be no visitation. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Redeemer Church, Whitney Pier on Thursday, August 15 at 10 a.m., with Rev. Paul Murphy officiating. Interment in New Calvary Cemetery.
